More education and assimilation is not the answer!
— A SOLUTION FOR THEM —
The Sustainable
Discipleship Method
When you know what you are making and how to make it, you can make something that works.
Sustainable Discipleship is a simple, proven method for making self-sustaining, self-replicating disciples. Built on Biblical models. Grounded in the science of how God designed us to learn. Three simple goals. Three strategies.
You’ll get results you can measure from the very first session.
You’ll watch disciples become:
Prepared
They know what to do and why it’s important. They understand God and themselves.
Confident
They connect biblical truths cover-to-cover, learn to learn and follow on their own.
Skilled
They are prepared ahead of time for the decisions and challenges of life. They are self-sustaining.
— PRACTICAL HOW TOS FOR YOU —
your method makes
the difference
From beginning to end, your method determines not only how many disciples you get to make — but how well-made they are.
This isn’t a program or the latest greatest materials. It’s a method re-discovered from how God made disciples from Genesis through Revelation. It works everywhere because it’s built on two promises God already made — and it gives you practical, step-by-step how-tos for every night disciples show up expecting to be led — like next Tuesday!
You’ll learn how to work with God’s design of how the human brain learns. It’s all the stuff they don’t teach in seminary.
This isn’t another fad.
When you work the method, it works everywhere!
trusted on six continents and by nine denominations and counting.
Sustainable Discipleship is by no means the only way to make disciples. There are other ways that work. There are some great disciple makers seeing transformation. And there are some one-to-one methods that actually multiply.
Disciple makers use Sustainable Discipleship because it’s the fast lane. It achieves transformation at scale. They get to make more well-made disciples who succeed. And they can measure the success.
Backed by more than a decade of data and success…
Ninety-percent of disciples finish, do the right things for the right reasons, navigate the challenges of life and go on to make disciples long after the maker’s influence fades.
Chris' Story
Three years ago, a church leader interrupted us mid-presentation at a conference, saying,
“When it comes to discipleship, we all know, nothing works. Everything is broken. Why should we believe this any different?”
He even texted the conference leader from the back of the room:
“These guys are either frauds or they’re onto something.”
But he stayed. He watched a 30-minute mock group. He saw people encountering the Holy Spirit and the Word in real time. But he wasn’t convinced.
“Doug (the leader) is a freaky savant. No one else could do this like him!”
Then he brought our team to his church. That was three years ago. His congregation is now in their third year of the method.
Today, Chris Barras of Area 10 Faith Community in Richmond, VA leads Sustainable Discipleship workshops.
His words:
“I was skeptical when I heard — but now hundreds of our folks are not only reading the Bible, they are applying it and living abundantly.”
If you’re skeptical, Chris was too. We get it.
